| LORD, THIS
IS OUR OLD FRIEND RIPLEY. She is a fine border collie, a treasured member
of our family. She has taken good care of Margo and Cris all of her life.
She has been a strict mother to Jonesy, the cat.
She is intelligent, pretty and funny. She would cock her head to one side
as if to say "don't bother to tell me, I
already know." She was the best ball player in the world, and was
always ready to prove it. She had unlimited energy; she was full of life.
I can see her running down the beach and dashing into the ocean, getting
all wet and sandy. She really knew how to have fun.
That's the way I'll remember her. We all will. We commit her, Lord, to your everlasting care. We hope you have a large supply of tennis balls in collie Heaven. She will always be missed. AMEN. RRP December 31, 1997 |
